Do you have a restaurant?

We do have a restaurant that is open for lunch Monday through Friday.  On Monday we run a lunch buffet between 11am and 2pm.  From Tuesday through Friday we offer a restaurant menu, found HERE, and salad bar between 11am and 3pm.  We do NOT offer open dining in the evening or on the weekends.  We look forward to you joining us for lunch!

How much do you charge to rent the banquet rooms for an event?

At our facility we do not charge for the room rental.  Instead we charge a price per person based on the menu that you choose plus a 25% Service Charge and a 7.5% State Sales Tax.

How many people can your venue hold?

We have six banquet rooms and a smaller lounge area for events. We can accommodate between 10 and 400 guests.  The number of rooms we reserve for your event is based on the number of guests you expect to attend. 

Can I rent out the venue and provide my own catering?

The Berwick is a full-service banquet facility and does not allow outside catering. You can find our on-site banquet menus HERE.

Can the wedding ceremony be held on-site?

You are welcome to have your wedding ceremony on-site.  We do NOT have an outdoor ceremony space available, but we offer two options for the ceremony within the banquet rooms:

One. If you would like to have a ceremony with aisle seating in a room adjacent to the reception space, there is a $350 ceremony fee per room (one room can accommodate approximately 80-100 guests) for a four-hour increment of time.  The ceremony must be complete by 4:00pm.

Two. If you would like to have a ceremony in your reception space with guests seated at their reception tables, there is no ceremony fee but the ceremony time cannot be earlier than your contracted reception start time.

Is there a bride’s room and groom’s room where we can get ready?

We have a separate dressing room for the bride to get ready.   However, there is no separate space for the groom.  We recommend that the groom and groomsmen arrive at the venue in their wedding attire. 

What is your alcohol policy?

The Berwick liquor license requires that we provide all alcohol on the premises and our bartenders serve and control the alcohol.  We have different packages available to meet your budget and do not have any minimums.  You can find information regarding bar options and alcohol pricing in our on-site banquet center menus HERE.

Do you have food and beverage minimums?

We do not have any food and beverage minimums.

Can I come and take a tour?

We would love to show you what our building has to offer for your event. Contact us at 614-235-7100 to schedule a tour or you can come in during our regular business hours of Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

How do I book my event?

To confirm our venue or catering services we require a signed contract and deposit.  The amount of the deposit varies depending on the size of your event.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that plans change. If you cancel the event at least six months in advance of the event date, your deposit is fully refundable. If event date needs to be rebooked, your deposit may be moved to new date one time only if notice is given up to 3 months prior to event date. Deposit is non-refundable if cancellation occurs less than 3 months prior to event date.

Which forms of payments do you accept?

The Berwick accepts payments by credit or debit card, cashier’s check, money order or cash. We do not accept personal checks. If paying by credit card you can call 614-235-7100 to provide payment details over the phone. 

What audiovisual equipment do you provide?

Our rooms are equipped with free Wi-Fi. We are happy to provide a wired microphone in any of the rooms. For presentations we can provide an 8 ft x 8 ft screen, table and extension cord for you. We do NOT have a projector, you would need to provide this. We also have a Muzak system that can play mood music in the room throughout the event.

What linen colors do you have for my event?

We offer a wide variety of linen colors. For tablecloths we can provide White, Ivory, Black, Navy Blue and Red. For napkins we can provide White, Ivory, Black, Navy Blue, Powder Blue, Royal Blue, Red, Purple, Lavender, Pink, Raspberry, Brown, Tan, Silver (light grey), Charcoal Grey, Burnt Orange, Burgundy, Yellow, Hunter Green, Seafoam Green, Teal and Gold.


How far away do you travel for catered events?

We will travel up to an hour away for events.

Where do you cater?

We have a list of venues where we cater most often but we are not limited to this list.  We cater to any venue that allows outside catering vendors, including home residences. If you need recommendations on a venue, please call 614-235-7100 and we would be happy to help give suggestions based on your event needs.

Can I purchase food only without having to use your full-service catering services?

Yes, of course. We have a pick-up and delivery menu which has food priced by the pan, boxed lunches and other packaged meals that are priced for the food only. You can add on items such as disposable plates/silverware/napkins, beverages, chaffing dishes, etc… 

Do you offer delivery?

We do offer delivery services. We charge $45 for delivery only and $60 for delivery & pick-up. There is no minimum on food orders when we deliver.

Can you provide bartending services only at catered events?

To provide bartending services, we would also have to provide catering services. For weekday events (Monday through Friday), we have a $500.00 minimum for catering and Saturday we require full-service catering to be provided.
