Our story begins when Tony and Maria Susi first opened the doors to “The Berwick Seafood Manor” in 1955. At that time it was a smaller restaurant in Bexley, Ohio serving up seafood and homemade italian goodness to as many people as Tony and Maria could fit in the 100-seat space.
By 1964, The Berwick had outgrown its Bexley location so Tony and Maria changed the name to “The Berwick Manor Party House” and relocated the business down the road to a new 11,500 sf facility with six on-site banquet rooms, one dining room, and two smaller lounge rooms; this is the very same location The Berwick inhabits today. The Berwick eventually expanded even further to offer off-site catering services to offices, catering venues, private residences, parks, etc
Today, Maria Susi can still be found making pasta or rolling meatballs in the back kitchen and she is now joined by her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, all of whom are dedicated to sharing great food and impeccable service with their guests.
We are constantly learning and trying new things, but in the end it is our 60 years of experience that sets us apart.

Homemade Italian goodness is what we specialize in, but our menus offer selections far beyond just Italian. We enjoy creating custom menus, from imaginative to ethnic.
In our family, great memories are created over a meal and that belief extends to any event we plan. It could be a Tuesday night dinner with the family or a 400 person wedding, regardless of its scale, the ritual of enjoying a delicious meal is important to us.
